The Texas Crime Prevention Association (TCPA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing crime prevention, community safety, and professional development for law enforcement and public safety professionals. Founded in 1975, TCPA is a 501(c)(3) organization made up of law enforcement personnel and civilians with a shared interest in neighborhood watch programs, loss prevention, security, citizen police academies, and innovative crime prevention strategies. TCPA provides ongoing training and professional development to more than 400 members committed to building safer communities across Texas.

The 51st Annual TCPA Conference will be held July 20–23, 2026, at the Omni Corpus Christi (900 N Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX). This event brings together crime prevention specialists, law enforcement officers, and public safety professionals to share best practices, receive training, exchange resources, and collaborate on strategies to address emerging threats in our communities.
